The stream is very gentle and pours downward like a little water fall. Which is actually really nice, it's quiet and doesn't splash anywhere. I also don't have to listen to a loud pump or running water all day. Some of the stronger ones have scared my cat in the past.

It is super quiet! maybe too quiet for our cats to recognize it :) really beautiful. This fountain is fairly easy to put together with the instructions given, even let you know how often to clean the motor and how to take it apart to deep clean.

✅ Handles both commercial canned cat food & raw food pretty well.

My cat likes the food bowls. She ate her food mostly over the bowl but she still dropped some on the table next to the bowl and ate from there. But definitely does this less than she used to. Probably just by habit.
